Estimation: 2017 Chinese Cloud Computing Market Share Will Hit $10 Billion

For the CDN services that operators are good at, China Unicom’s Wo Cloud has the second, eCloud is next to it.  

Insiders point out that security and speediness are vital to cloud storage development. As operators, China Telecom and China Unicom have advantages in terms of high broadband sources and security. 

The report also analyzes that cloud service capacity rises rapidly, the cloud computing infrastructure develops fast, and the cloud storage potential is also very huge. In the end of the report, there is a prediction about 2017 cloud service market:

  • Cloud service market will continue to grow fast, and the annual rate of increase will be above 30%;
  • Innovative enterprises will increase, and the venture investment will be still interested in innovative services; 
  • The cloud service capacity will increase, and Aliyun, eCloud, and Wo Cloud will continuously expand their cloud service construction;
  • The cloud service market concentration will intensify, as the market shares of Aliyun, eCloud and Wo Cloud will increase;
  • The demand for security will increase, while the cloud security market will rapidly expand. 

Generally, the expectation of 2017 Chinese cloud service market is bullish.
