Going through the forming stage in 2014, development in 2015, and rapid growth of enterprise-class services in 2016, no matter those mature businesses or those newly-established firms, they all hope to get a share in the billionaire SaaS industry. First of all, the market will be more and more mature and users will look bullish at SaaS service.  Companies’ daily management will pursue higher efficiency higher lower costs. More companies will be likely to use enterprise-class apps that can bring convenience and high efficiency. To use system and service to management companies will gradually become a management mode that companies are fond of. 

Due to the technical advantages and characteristic of SaaS, it can help companies to reduce the hardware investment, reduce human resources costs, and promote the while operating efficiency. So, as for enterprise-class users, SaaS is actually a more economy enterprise management solution. For the SaaS software, the pricing of it is not the most important, but whether can it solve companies’ problems is.  

Secondly, enterprises will put forward higher requests to the users. It also means users have more service options. So, they can demands higher user experience. It shows that those enterprise-class services that can not only solve company’s management pain points, but also generate value will finally win the market. 

Different from B2C customers’ experience, B2B user demands are to meet requirements of management decision-making class, and to get the recognition and favorite from most employees. It seems that those apps that can have people-oriented essence, fit in with company culture, and care about employees can get preference. 

Thirdly, customizable and personalized solutions are the development trend. With the constantly service upgrades, unitized service cannot completely meet enterprise’s requirements, because different companies and different fields need different service solutions. 

By far, there are some enterprises having powerful technical system, so that they can customize different modular service with different companies’ demands, while they can provide big data analysis to realize the pre-event management.  

Currently, the requirements of users are transforming from objective demands to scenario demands. Now, the customization ear has come. To go further, enterprise-class SaaS needs to break tradition and to constantly innovate products and services. 

Fourthly, the capital markets have leapt back to life and niche gets preference. According to incomplete statistics, only in late October, B2B enterprise-class service providers obtained approximate $146.32 million financing, getting high level of concern from capital markets. 

On 19th, Oct, Doumi Part-time announced that it has obtained $40 million in round B financing; on 25th, Oct, WeiZhi, an HR SaaS platform, announced that there were $30 million obtained in round B financing; in the late of October, Ant HR also announced that it has completed A round financing with millions of dollars.

These facts show that capital markets pay more attention to SaaS breakthrough focusing on some specific fields. For startups, they can just optimize their product lines and service manners, and enter into the market from their best niche, so as to quickly acquire enterprise-class users’ confidence and build up industry barrier. When they stand firmly in their niche, they can develop their horizontal or vertical business.

According to the survey that MS commissioned Ipsos to make, focusing on 302 Chinese staffs, there are 79% staffs think that social collaboration tools are conducive to improve the collaboration between staffs when working, and these tools also contribute to enhance team collaboration. 80% Chinese staffs hope that they can have more opportunities of participating in making decision that companies bring in new technologies and new tools. 61% staffs are willing to pay for using SaaS enterprise collaboration tools, to increase work efficiency and reduce costs.

This survey can fully present that there are large demands on enterprise-class SaaS, and in 2017, it is more worth looking forward to.
