On Tuesday, 14th March 2017, GoDaddy had announced the launch of a new Business Hosting platform that will be available for the users with shared hosting. With this launch, GoDaddy wishes to offer easier services to the users who have been using shared hosting. This decision has been taken with the intent to add more resources to the business sites without having the need to move to a more technical VPS hosting.

This program by GoDaddy will be priced at $29.99 per month. This monthly package would include the following features:

  • ·         Unmetered bandwidth
  • ·         Dedicated resources
  • ·         Additional RAM and storage
  • ·         Allocated CPUs for the site with heavy resources

The Vice President of Engineering at GoDaddy named Demetrius Comes claims that the company has been observing a lot of active interest in the offering of new services since the time it has launched beta in the month of December last year.

Comes in an interview with a leading company said that this feature has been quite popular with the business companies across the world. Comes had joined GoDaddy around twenty months ago after he had a lucrative career in the development of the video games.

The launch of the Business Hosting services by GoDaddy has been made around two months after the company had released the new ownership Website Builder that makes use of the machine learning technology for guiding the customers as they would create their own sites.

Comes claimed that when he started with GoDaddy, the entire hosting division was all in itself. Every single product on the site had its separate stack of implementation and made use of different languages. As the engineers worked within the particular hosting, there was no need to share the technology with each other in the team. However, Comes now claims that all of that has changed considerably in the recent times. It has become a lot easier for the engineering team to release new products and for the improving of the existing products.

The New Head of Hosting of GoDaddy Raghu Murthi had said in an interview in December that the company is going to continue the expansion of its services that would cater the SMBs. Later towards the end of this year, GoDaddy has made plans to release a new set of cloud servers and several products that will be built on OpenStack.

Comes claims that they have now a new hosting platform on which all of their products are built. This is the manner how they aim to bring about relevant solutions to bring about an optimized and faster service to the customers. This is because they have a wide platform that has a lot of common things that are used by GoDaddy to move forward in their business plan. It is their prime motive to provide better services every time they launch new products or services. They are merely not focused on just one product that might be available on just one platform.

The business hosting services by GoDaddy would aim at satisfying the needs and requirements of the customers for increased number of resources. They also aim at keeping their services quite simple for the business owners of all sorts and types to make use of them with much ease. Even if the business owners are professional or even beginners in their dealings, the services are aimed to benefit all groups of the naïve business owners and companies. On the previous versions of the services by GoDaddy, the customers were in need of more resources. They were also transferred to the VPS products and services by GoDaddy. This all required a significant amount of technical features and abilities for the business organizations to be fully benefited from the same.

Comes says that with the help of the newly launched Business Hosting services, GoDaddy aims to provide to its users an intermediary step or bridge between the VPS hosting and the shared hosting. He claims that the business owners of the startups or the leading business organizations might have several things to worry about. With so many concerns, they are able to address only four to five problems each day. The last thing that GoDaddy would want their customers or business owners is that they would not like to add any more complex or difficult handling and management of the server. This is when the business owners have already spent a great amount of time in learning about the products and services that would aid in the designing and development of their websites.

Therefore, with the launch of the Business Hosting services, GoDaddy aims to strengthen the overall business presence of several business organizations across the world. With strengthened business presence, the businesses will be able to hold a better image in the industry and would reach the pinnacles of success.
