WordPress plugins are very helpful to those who want to further tailor and customize a site to meet specific needs. Below we will demonstrate how to install your first WordPress plugin.
- From your WordPress dashboard locate and hover over ‘Plugins’ and click ‘Add New’
- Enter the name of the plugin into the search field and perform the search on the Install Plugin screen. (like below)
- Click on ‘Install now’ button and it will automatically downloaded.
- Note: Don’t forget to click ‘Activate Plugin’ so you can actually use it, many times users forget to activate it.
